“Ring” is the second of two songs featuring Suzanne Perry’s sister, Kristen Perry, on the 1998 album, 'Flux.' The lyrics begins with a refrain from an early poem by W.B. Yeats, called "The Stolen Child," which seems to have inspired Kristen's lyrics.

As an aside, their other collaboration, "Psyche," was featured in episode #50 of the popular show, Dawson’s Creek. This season premier episode, called "The Bostonians," aired October 10th, 2001 on the WB Network. The song was also included on the Season 5 DVD set released in 2005.
